Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Discmetric, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Discmetric is an iOS application that allows users to track disc golf training sessions and analyze performance data.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Accounts

• An account is required to use the App.
• Authentication is provided via Sign in with Apple.
• You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple ID.
• We are not responsible for loss of access due to Apple account issues.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Discmetric offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase:

• Product: Discmetric Pro
• Monthly Plan: $1.99 per month
• Annual Plan: $17.99 per year

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

All billing is handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information and cannot issue refunds. For refunds, contact Apple support.

6. Free Trial

We may offer a 14-day free trial for subscription plans.

If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

7. User Data and Content

• All training data and performance metrics are stored locally on your device and associated with your account.
• Data may be deleted if the App is removed or if you delete it manually within the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Interfere with the operation or security of the App

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Discmetric are owned by Christopher Carnes and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The App uses third-party services including PostHog and Sentry for analytics and error tracking.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Discmetric provides training insights and performance analysis for informational purposes only.

The App does not provide professional coaching, medical advice, or guaranteed performance outcomes. Use of the App is at your own risk.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Christopher Carnes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
